Accessibility
A website with room for more people.
Readable pages, clear navigation and respectful communication help more people take part.
Controls and structure
The website includes a skip-to-content link, keyboard focus indicators, expandable mobile navigation, labelled forms and a Reduce motion control in the footer. It also respects the reduced-motion setting supplied by a visitor’s device. Text remains available when animation is disabled.
Headings and separate programme pages help visitors scan the information. Forms use visible labels and report validation problems in text. Videos are not played automatically. The team should add meaningful alternative text when it publishes an image and provide captions or transcripts for audiovisual material.
