Governance

Clear responsibilities. Accountable decisions.

Understand the governance information that participants, staff, partners and supporters should be able to ask for.

Oversight and day-to-day work

Governance and operations serve different purposes. Oversight sets direction, checks responsibilities and reviews how decisions align with the organisation’s governing documents. Operational management coordinates people, resources and delivery. An approved governance profile should identify these responsibilities clearly, including who can authorise partnerships, spending and public claims.

This page does not assert a particular board structure, statutory status or audit history. Current office-bearers, appointment processes and governing documents must be supplied and approved by the organisation before they are represented as facts.
